FALL 2026 RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS (Peewee Program, Boys and Girls Leagues)

Boys and girls born in 2019 and 2020 are eligible to participate our Peewee program, and children born between 2012 and 2018 are eligible to particpate in our Girls and Boys Leagues.
Peewee Program
The Peewee program is for boys and girls born in 2019 and 2020 (NYC DOE 1st and 2nd grades) and wll be in 1-1/2 hour sessions on Saturday mornings.
New this year, the Peewee program will be divided into separate boys' and girls' groups.
Girls and Boys Recreational Leagues
The Girls and Boys Recreational Leagues are open to children born in 2012 through 2018.
We expect to have three age divisions in each league:
Younger Division: Children born in 2017 and 2018 (NYC DOE 3rd and 4th grades)
Middle Division: Children born in 2015 and 2016 (NYC DOE 5th and 6th grades)
Older Division: Children born in 2012 through 2014 (NYC DOE 7th to 9th grades)
Recreational League games will be held in the afternoon on Saturdays (Boys) and Sundays (Girls), with specific times to be determined based on enrollment. In addition to games, Boys and Girls League teams generally have weekly practices scheduled by team coaches, based on availability.
General Information
All programs will take place at Seton Park, Independence Avenue and West 232 Street. The season will run for 10 weeks, from the weekend of September 19 to November 22.
The season fee is $110 per player for any program ($125 after July 15), which includes the player's uniform consisting of a jersey, shorts, socks, and ball.
Players must provide their own shin guards, which are rquired to play.
Due to time and field space limitations, registration is limited and is on a first come basis.
If you are placed on a wait list, your credit card will not be charged unless a spot opens up for you.
Refunds will be given if you cancel before August 15. There are no refunds after that date.
Please note: These programs could not be possible without the support of our parents.
Please consider volunteering as a coach, team parent, or general league support.
Your kids will thank you for it.

FALL 2025 ENROLLMENT TOTALS
In the Fall 2025 season, the
Riverdale Soccer Club had 599 youth soccer players playing in our programs. This
included 150 players on 22 teams in the Peewee Program, 197 players on 16 teams
in the Riverdale Soccer Boys League, 153 players on 12 teams in the
Riverdale Soccer Girls League, and 99 players on 7 travel teams
playing in the Westchester Youth Soccer League. Altogether, there were 395 boys
and 204 girls playing soccer in our programs.
