(Peewee Instructional Program and Riverdale Soccer League Girls Division)

We do not offer any winter programs, and the status of the Spring 2022 season is uncertain. We are hoping to have a spring season for the Peewee Program for boys and girls born in 2014 and 2015, and the Girls League for girls born between 2007 and 2013, in Van Cortlandt Park. However, the Parks Department will not be able to confirm that there will be a field available for us until early February. If we are able to have a spring season, registration will start in mid-February and the season will run from early April to mid-June. As plans develop, we will update this information.

There is no Boys League in the spring; the Boys League plays only in the fall.

Participation on a travel team requires a tryout, and there are a limited number of openings on each team. For more information about a particular travel team, and to find out about availability, contact the team managers as shown below.

GRAHAM WALKER (1955-2022)

The Riverdale Soccer Club and the entire local soccer community mourn the sudden and unexpected passing of Graham Walker on January 17. Graham was one of the original founders of the Club in 1997, and served as the Club's first president. Graham is survived by his wife, Agnes, and three sons, John, Martin and Chris, all of whom played soccer in the Club's early days.

In the Fall 2021 season, the Riverdale Soccer Club had 550 youth soccer players playing in our programs. This included 140 players on 20 teams in the Peewee Program, 180 players on 14 teams in the Riverdale Soccer League Boys Division, 124 players on 10 teams in the Riverdale Soccer League Girls Division, and 106 players on 7 travel teams playing in the Westchester Youth Soccer League. Altogether, there were 350 boys and 200 girls playing soccer in our programs.
