FALL 2024 RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS
(Peewee Instructional Program and Riverdale Boys and Girls Soccer Leagues)

We are now accepting registrations for the Fall 2024 season. All registrations will be conducted online, and all monetary transactions will therefore be done by credit card and receipts will be issued through the online platform.

The 10-week fall season will start on the weekend of September 7th. There are three programs, all taking place at Seton Park, Independence Avenue and West 232 Street. The fee for any program is $110 per player, which includes the player's uniform of a jersey, shorts and socks, and a soccer ball. Players must provide their own shin guards, which are required to play. Refunds will be given if you cancel before August 15. There are no refunds after that date.

The three programs are:

The Peewee Instructional Program is the introductory program for boys and girls born in 2017 and 2018 and will be an hour and a half session on Saturday mornings. Children born in 2018 will meet from 8:30 to 10, children born in 2017 from 10 to 11:30.

The Girls League is open to girls only born in 2010 through 2016. Girls League games will take place on Sunday afternoons.

The Boys League is open to boys, and girls upon request, born between 2010 and 2016. Boys League games will take place on Saturday afternoons.

In both the Girls and Boys Leagues, we expect to have three age divisions, an Older Division for children born between 2010 and 2012, a Middle Division for children born in 2013 and 2014, and a Younger Division for children born in 2015 and 2016. In addition to their weekend games, Boys and Girls League teams will usually have a practice session during the week.

Due to time and field space limitations, registration is limited and is on a FIRST COME BASIS.

    Peewee Program for boys and girls born in 2018: Open
    Peewee Program for boys and girls born in 2017: Open

    Younger Girls Division for girls born in 2015 and 2016: Open
    Middle Girls Division for girls born in 2013 and 2014: Open
    Older Girls Division for girls born in 2010, 2011 and 2012: Open

    Younger Boys Division for boys born in 2015 and 2016: Open, but almost full
    Middle Boys Division for boys born in 2013 and 2014: Open
    Older Boys Division for boys born in 2010, 2011 and 2012: Open



FALL 2024 TRAVEL TEAMS

Participation on a travel team requires a tryout, and there are a limited number of openings on each team. For more information about a particular travel team, and to find out about availability, contact the team managers as shown below.

FALL 2023 ENROLLMENT TOTALS

In the Fall 2023 season, the Riverdale Soccer Club had 538 youth soccer players playing in our programs. This included 112 players on 16 teams in the Peewee Program, 196 players on 16 teams in the Riverdale Soccer Boys League, 124 players on 10 teams in the Riverdale Soccer Girls League, and 106 players on 7 travel teams playing in the Westchester Youth Soccer League. Altogether, there were 346 boys and 192 girls playing soccer in our programs.
